Following the success of his film Dragon, actor Pradeep Ranganathan has signed on for a new project backed by a leading production house. Soon after the title was made public, Telugu actor and filmmaker Teja raised objections, asserting that the name 'Dude' rightfully belongs to him. According to The Hindu, Teja stated that he had announced a film with the same title a year ago. Teja expressed his surprise at the production house choosing to go ahead with a title that was already in use, especially since they are a prominent name in the industry. However, he clarified that he does not intend to initiate any conflict with the production house.
